The Grand Canyon

Last weekend my brother Eldon and his wife Crystal came for a couple days. On friday we went to the Grand Canyon. I figured it would be big but I guess I couldn't really picture it until I saw it. We just went along the rim trail...we weren't prepared to have to drag any little ones back out. I wasn't really prepared to drag myself out either.












































On Saturday we went hiking in Coal Mine Canyon that is on the Navajo reservation about 30 minutes from here. It has some really pretty colors and layers there. There are even oyster shells there and fish fossils. Saturday night we drove out behind Bacavi and showed them the caves. We had a campfire then and roasted hotdogs and sang some. Eldon played the guitar and Bryce played the mandolin.












It was so nice to have family here, I wanted to tell them they couldn't leave. Thanks for coming guys!
