The Battle Continues

We have not had much reprieve from the battle here. In some ways it seems to have intensified. It seems satan is really working at trying to discourage us and some days I must confess I have not withstood the battle too well. How do we minister here in a way that speaks their language? We continue to spend much time in prayer, during this time especially. There will be more ceremonies coming up in July.

Summer is in full swing here with many opportunities to minister to children and teenagers as they come through the yard and spend lots of time playing here. We have spent several late evenings having impromptu volleyball games and cookouts. They seem to enjoy it and for some it is the only meal they will have that day.

A few happenings here....

Sewer pipe broke. I was thankful for the outhouse.

Tara getting crochet lessons from a Hopi lady here.

We got a $5 Kenmore sewing machine for Tara that she is enjoying.

Internet down for several days.

Our dog ran away and came back a time or 2.

Hiking at Blue Canyon.

Going to the Swap Meet.

Tara turned 11.

...And many more things to numerous to mention.

I guess that will have to do for my update this time. My excuse is that we had Internet troubles here. I will leave you with some pics though.

At Blue Canyon

Girls picking chicken off the bone.

Roxane,

The Lord continue to give you grace and strength! We think of you often and this again is a reminder to be praying for you.

Cute name for a dog!
